Andrew & Simon Crilly
While the family business started way back in the 1950’s with the grandfather starting out as a building contractor, Andrew and Simon Crilly began their building careers in the late 1970s working as "chippies" for their father. He started them on renovations and cabinet making and their passion has grown from there which is not surprising, given that building is in their blood!
Andrew is the Managing Director and has been in the industry for 26 years. Simon has been in industry for the 30 years.
The Crilly family has earned its reputation in general residential building due to the vast experience that has been gained from immersing themselves in the various trades over the decades. It's the hands-on experience that explains the brothers' unrelenting attention to detail. Ask around the tradies and you will find this "perfectionism" can be a blessing and a curse!
In the end, though, the brothers share a single focus on making sure their customers LOVE their Signature Homes' houses or renovations. Of course, it is worth it when you consider that Signature Homes has a good name for quality, with their homes being sought after for their excellent re-sale value.
In recent years, Andrew and Simon applied their experience to the commercial sector, taking on larger scale projects. This is where Simon's passion for flying comes in handy because it makes it easier for him to get to all the regional work they have on the go - site crews never know when the supervisor will "drop" in. If Simon had his way he would spend his life creating new developments and buildings, showcasing his flair for innovative design, and then flying between jobs to make sure ever "i" is dotted and "t" is crossed.
Andrew spends a lot of his time looking after clients closer to home and it is not uncommon for him and his team to look after clients well past their "contractual" period.
Both Andrew and Simon love fishing, boating, diving and getting away to Pt Lincoln as often as possible to recharge their batteries!
Kym Whittington – Operations Administrator
Kym Whittington keeps the wheels turning at Signature Homes' head office, looking after reception and general office administration.
You're likely to speak with Kym when you make your first enquiry at Signature Homes - you will be in good hands. Kym knows all the ins and outs of the business, looking after orders, "take-offs", and suppliers.
